How do you gain stars?
Businesses are awarded no star, half a star, or a star against each of the five criteria. The minimum a business can achieve is zero stars; the maximum is five stars. For each of the five criteria, organisations gain a half star for having a target in place and a half star for actions towards the stated target(s).
Actions need to be evidenced, e.g. via a sustainability report or other publication with supporting documents.
Target(s) for each criterion must be SMART. *
*SMART = Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely.
